I'm So Very Happy

I'm so very happy and you'll never guess why. Never in a million years. No really. Go ahead. Give it a shot. Guess why I'm floating on air at this very moment...Ohhhhh...I guess you see the picture. I s'pose that's a dead giveaway. That's ok. I don't care. Ya know why?...CAUSE I AM SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!

Yours truly is the proud owner of the new black iPod. I'd call it a video iPod except that Apple doesn't so I won't either. What I will call it is a Very Friggin Cool Piece Of Machinery. What makes the iPod even cooler is the software, Handbrake (Mac OS only). Handbrake is an DVD ripper that allows me to convert my dvds to video that plays on the iPod. I understand they have similar software for the PC.

Now I know that there's a lot of people out there who don't think they need this new iPod. The biggest hard drive is still 60 gigs and you probably think you don't need an iPod that plays video because the screen is so small. I thought that very same thing until I saw the new iPods at the Apple store last week. After seeing them in person, I knew I would have to have one and now I do. I totally cannot wait to get up tomorrow so I can get on the train and watch the season 6 episodes of The Simpsons that I'm ripping right now. God, I love Apple.
